The fifth eviction show of M-Net�s BIG BROTHER REVOLUTION (Sunday 11 October, live at 19:00 CAT) was jam-packed with action and drama as the duo of Hannington and Yacob were evicted from the house. As Head of House this week, Itai�s difficult decision to replace Kristal & Quinn in the nomination with Elizabeth & Kevin which he sheepishly revealed to the housemates when IK asked him to was based on country loyalty, as he worked to save his fellow Zimbabwean Kristal. Meanwhile, over on the other side of the nomination scale, Yacob had been adamant all week that Itai had saved him and Hannington because of their friendship�.but it wasn�t to be. Revealing the eviction results this week, series presenter IK announced that it was in fact Hannington & Yacob who had been red-carded by Africa this week and were on their way out of the show. After many hugs and something of an exit parade from the housemates, the two joined IK on stage to talk about their time in the house. Yacob said he wouldn�t be surprised to find out who nominated him as his fate had been on the cards since the ladies joined the house and nominations had been running along the lines of men vs. women. �Kevin orchestrated this, but it�s all good,� said the smooth Ethiopian. Hannington added that he would hold no grudges, before IK rolled the tape revealing who had helped evict them from the house. Chatting to IK after seeing who had determined his fate, Yacob told Africa that he didn�t feel that the �Smokers� Alliance� had failed him. �It�s a numbers game,� he said, �and I didn�t have the numbers!� Yacob felt that he had had a good game and wouldn�t swap the experience for anything. When quizzed about the �Smokers� and his perceived leadership of the group, Yacob said they were simply �a group of friends who chilled together, there was no leader�. IK then asked Yacob if the kiss he shared with Rene after one of the tasks had been part of the game or for real. �It was just part of the game,� he said. �I was just having fun � I love Rene as a sister, but that�s about it.� Informed that his Molotov Cocktail was to make one housemate sleep outside for 1 week (not on the Palace deck), Yacob didn�t hesitate to throw it at �the most spoiled brat in the house � Liz!� Hannington was up next, with IK immediately asking him about his two controversial relationships with Mzamo and Liz. �Neither of them were the real deal�, said the Ugandan. �It was just fun in the house�. He said that his �relationship� with Mzamo had run its course before he began to get closer to Liz and that there were no hard feelings. Asked about the alliances, he said he was true to �his boys� from the start and wouldn�t have thought for a second about switching sides. His Molotov Cocktail would see one housemate making everyone�s beds and handing in their linen for one week. �Kevin, you took both of us on, much love, but this one�s for you� said Hannington gleefully, saddling Kevin with his second Molotov Cocktail so far. Earlier, Kenya�s Amali � up for 4 Channel O Music Video Awards had wowed the crowd with two electric performances and viewers gotten to see what Erastus, Rene and Paloma had gotten up to after being evicted. Then celebrity guest, Supersport presenter Thomas Mlambo � who had entered the house on Friday and seemingly formed an instant bond with some of the housemates � also exited the house. Having brought an encyclopedic knowledge of soccer to the house during �Soccer Week�, he also got many of the housemates to open up to him. Thomas said he�d had a great time and was fascinated by the amount of wheeling and dealing going on in the background. When IK put him on the spot about who he thought would win, he named Nkenna because of her ability to win people over behind the scenes. He was also allowed to throw a Molotov Cocktail at the house as a whole � but this time it would be a positive one. The news was that the housemates would be enjoying a barbeque on Monday night, which they were all quite excited about. Will the Smokers� Alliance survive the departure of Yacob & Hannington? Does Kristal owe Itai anything for potentially saving her and Quinn from eviction? And how will Itai�s life in the house change now that his housemates have seen that friendship isn�t his top priority?
