I Will Never Stop Singing Susuka DSP Kofi Sarpong

Vodafone Ghana Music Awards’ gospel artiste of the year SP Kofi Sarpong will not stop singing Kofi Kinata’s Susuka after he was heavily mauled by gospel minstrel Naa Mercy for singing the song at church few months ago, Flex newspaper has learnt.

Frank Kwabena Owusu, in an interview with Kofi Sarpong on the TIG Show on Hitz FM made it clear that there is no way he will ever stop performing the Susuka song on any platform at all he finds himself. He believes the song carries a strong message which should be listened to by everybody including the gospel musicians.

According to him, he has been performing the song all over the place. He performed this same song in one of the branches of The Church of Pentecost in Accra and it was massively embraced by the congregation as they danced to it regardless of where they were.
Contrary to people’s thoughts that he is into fashion considering how good he appears in his outfits, he said he rather feels relaxed and comfortable in them and they positively influence his performance all the time.

Meanwhile, the reigning VGMAs Gospel Artiste of the year, DSP Kofi Sarpong has been nominated at the annual African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) in the Gospel Artiste of the Year category scheduled for Nigeria in October this year.
