Highlife artiste Lucky Mensah who has ditched the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) after massively campaigning for the party during the 2012 general election, met the Flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party, Nana Akufo Addo on Thursday morning.
The musician who has recorded a new song to campaign for NPP and its flag bearer, Nana Akufo-Addo ahead of the 2016 polls presented the latter with a copy of the song at his Nima residence.
The song titled ‘Yeresesamu’ to wit ‘we are changing over’ talks about the hardship in the country and gives several reasons why Ghanaians should vote for NPP during this year’s general election.
Lucky Mensah in August 2015 was reported to have said that he is disappointed in NDC, claiming the party deserted him after he composed a song that served as the theme for the party’s elections 2012 campaign.
He said instead of the NDC appreciating him for his efforts, they rather neglected him.
