A Plus Has Been Begging Me For Money NDC man

A Deputy Communication director of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has claimed that rapper Kwame Asare Obeng, aka Kwame A Plus who recently released a satirical song criticizing the government has been begging him for money.

A-Plus recently released a satirical piece titled ‘ABEN B3 BOM’ accusing Mahama-led government and members of the NDC of using state resources to enrich themselves. The song which has gone viral on social media highlighted on the unbridled corruption and mismanagement of state funds by people in government.

He claimed in the song that several NDC big wigs including Kofi Adams are now business tycoons and building mansions overnight when while in opposition he could barely make ends meet. Kofi Adams took offense and described A-Plus as a drug addict, an allegation which was denied by the rapper.

One functionary of the NDC named in the song is Fred Agbenyo whom he described as a pathological liar and has been propagating lies just to defend the Mahama administration.

“None of the NDC guys upsets me like that boy called Fred Agenyo, he talks as if a curse has been placed on him that if he speaks the truth he would die…,” a line in the satirical song read.

Reacting to this line, Fred Agbenyo claimed on Peace FM’s Kokrokoo on Tuesday that, A Plus is his friend.

He added that, the rapper has been begging for money from him hence was now pleased that he has released a song which would fetch him much more.

“I am happy that my friend A Plus can now name me in a song and make money out of that…I pray he makes good use of the money he would get from this so he wouldn’t have to call me demanding that I always send him money…,” he said.

Fred Agbenyo further claimed, A Plus spends the money he makes from his songs on negative lifestyles.

“I pray he won’t spend his money on that thing he is been drinking which makes him go about begging for money…I always want to keep mine…,” he said.

A Plus who was not pleased with the comments by Fred Agbenyo in a video posted on his facebook wall denied claims that he was a friend of the NDC Communicator. To him, he was surprised that someone who he hardly knows would claim he has been begging him for money.
