Evangelist appeals to Satellites to stay focus

Dr Lawrence Tetteh, a Ghanaian international evangelist and football enthusiast, on Thursday appealed to the Black Satellites to stay focussed to defeat Brazil. He said the players should know that Brazil had so far shown at the three-week World U-20 soccer fiesta, that it was a strong team. Dr Tetteh who spoke to GNA Sports in Accra, said the Satellites should guide against complacency since it could cost them dearly. He asked them to play as a team and be inspired by the "We can do it spirit" of the US President, Barack Obama. " A medal for Ghana is a must, especially at the time when the country is celebrating the centenary birthday of Ghana's first President, Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah. "A victory over Brazil will be the best birthday present to the memory of Osagyefo. Dr Tetteh called on Ghanaians to use the final match in Cairo, Egypt, to forge national unity and reconciliation. "The football encounter should encourage especially politicians to rise above their partisan interests and cheer the Black Satellites to victory.
