Kwabena Kwabena Set To Release 3rd Album

Ghanas High life sensation Kwabena Kwabena has announced that all is set for the release of Bibini, his third album. According to the artistes management, the release of Kwabena Kwabenas latest album will boost the image of contemporary high life music in Ghana and beyond. The Chief Executive of Kapricon Record Label, Kofi Okyere Darko, aka KOD, who manages the artiste, said in an interview that We are still working tirelessly on the album which has all the stuff to meet the demand of music lovers. He explained that he does not believe in coming out with just any album, saying it is important for the songs to make a dent on the mind of every music lover as soon as it hits the market. He is optimistic that Kwabena Kwabenas style of play, coupled with the fact that most of his songs are fussed with soul-touching rhythms, would take him places. KOD noted that although the artiste is young, his main aim is to reach the top of the ladder, adding it is his wish that the artiste would make it onto the international musical market. Although high life music has been suffering over the years due to the rapid growth of hip life and rag life music in Ghana, some staunch high life musicians like Kwabena Kwabena are strong in their resolve to sustain the good old traditional music. Kwabenas latest album has hit-songs Dadianoma, My Baby, Abotre, amongst others, and features Okyeame Kwame, Tinny and Cita Kamani. Kwabena Kwabena, who was named among the 17 Ambassadors by Glo recently, has two albums to his credit. Known in his private life as George Kwabena Adu, Kwabena Kwabena is a product of St. Peters Secondary School in Nkwatia Kwahu and Accra polytechnic. Being a draftsman by profession, combining it with his music is his big privilege he said. Playing the guitar and leading the church choir by the age of 14, Kwabena Kwabena did not become a musician by chance. He started his career with Hush Hush studios by featuring on other peoples songs. He has featured on songs by Tinny and A plus; he also did all the choruses on the Sound of Our Time like, You May Kiss The Bride. He believes in preaching things that always have a positive influence on those who listen to his songs. To him, profanity is an enemy to the industry.
