The infamous 'wardrobe malfunction' that saw Beyonce's earring apparently ripped out and her ear bleeding appears to have caused a wave of imitators online.

Within minutes of the accident, after which the singer performed her show with a bleeding left earlobe, #cutforbeyonce was trending on Twitter.

Since then several fans have claimed to mutilate themselves to show respect to their 'Queen Bey' - and they've posted the pictures to prove it.
