A/R Bomb Might Be An Element Of Scaremongering Kweku Baako

Security officials in the Ashanti region have begun investigations into the circumstances surrounding the discovery of some explosives found around the residence of The Deputy Ashanti Regional Minister, Andy Osei Okrah.

The Ashanti Regional Minister, Mr John Alexander Ackon confirmed the discovery of the bomb and assured that the security forces were in charge.

Giving further information on the incident, Peace FM Ashanti Regional correspondent, Samsom K. Nyamekye indicated that the security forces are set to release a statement today (Wednesday) to confirm whether or not what was found at the Deputy regional minister’s house was a bomb.

Reacting to this issue, Managing Editor of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, Kweku Baako Jnr says it might not be a bomb.

“Certain signs are worrying…already the regional minister by his conduct and pronouncement has preempt certain things which I think it is not good enough; I think there should have been no comment at that moment until we hear from the security forces…my instincts tells me this could be an element in scaremongering…however, we can make more concrete discussion after the release of the statement” he said in a panel discussion on Peace FM morning show ‘Kokrokoo’, Wednesday.
