Former Black Stars Psychologist Insists KP Boateng Must Not Be Invited

Former Black Stars Psychologist and current lecturer at the University of Cape Coast, Dr Patrick Ofori has condemned the idea of bringing back Kelvin-Prince Boateng into the Senior National Soccer team (Black Stars).

The Las Palmas striker formed an integral part of Ghana’s team at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa and Brazil 2014 respectively,

Boateng is currently serving a suspension from the Black Stars after allegedly putting up gross insubordition towards former Coach James Kwasi Appiah during the team’s campaign in Brazil .

The former AC Milan midfielder recently revealed his readiness to represent his native country in a third World Cup.

Dr Patrick Ofori insists bringing back the “firebrand” midfielder could create troubles in the team.

In an interview with Cape Coast-based ATL FM, the ex- Asante Kotoko Board Member reiterated that The Black Stars needs discipline and committed players to chalk laurels.

“I don’t understand the reason why Ghana should invite Kelvin Prince Boating because he is too indiscipline and disrespectful which I think Ghana must not compromise such behavior,” he noted.

“Kelvin must Understand that Ghana is superior to him and for that matter, he cannot take the nation for granted so I see no relevance in inviting him back to the Black Stars’’.
