Fit-Again Kwadwo Asamoah Excused From Black Stars Squad
Juventus star Kwadwo Asamoah was not invited to the Black Stars team ahead of next week’s World Cup qualifier against Egypt.
The player was excused from Avram Grant’s 23-man squad despite retuning from injury.
Asamoah was expected to make the team having stayed out for more than a year due to injury.
Ghana Coach Avram Grant will hence depend on the available midfielders for the game at the Borg El-Arab Stadium in Alexandria.
The players are expected to assemble in Dubai where they will hold a five-day camping before leaving for Egypt.
