XCLUSIV VIDEO: Amakye Dede Rocks MUSIGA Grand Ball With Indian Costume

Highlife living legend Abrantie Amakye Dede got patrons of the MUSIGA Grand Ball 2016, excited with his costume on stage.

The "Iron Boy" hit maker has been known for his consistent audience appeal over the years and his unpredictable stage costume always adds colour to his performance.

Amakye who was the lead act on the night, appeared on stage in an "Aladdin" inspired India costume to the amazement of everybody present and as usual, he got the entire house on their feet, dancing to his classics.

The MUSIGA Grand Ball 2016 took place on Friday November 4, at the State Banquet Hall.   

The Musicians Association of Ghana (MUSIGA), raised an estimated GH¢32,000 for the Ageing Musicians Welfare Fund (AMWeF) and the MUSIGA Academy at this year’s edition.

 To raise the funds, MUSIGA auctioned off a number of musical instruments and items belonging to legendary Ghanaian musicians including the Best of Nana Ampadu’ album, PK Yamoah’s guitar, AB Crentsil’ dondo and Rev. Kusi Berko’s accordion

This year’s event was also used to raise awareness for peaceful general elections on December 7. 

Other Musician who performed on the night include; Bob Pinodo, Pozo Hayes, the Blind Messiah, Tagoe Sisters, Naa Amanua, Wiyaala and Kofi Kinaata.
