Hearts Fans Angry

With two matches so far honoured in the Glo Premiership, a cross-section of fans of Accra Hearts of Oak have expressed worry about the teams performance in the ongoing league which started last weekend, pointing accusing fingers at some management members and the board. Citing the National Chapters Committee (NCCE) call for Hearts to employ a competent local trainer rather than engaging foreign coaches, the fans warned the management to do the right thing before they vent their spleen on them. In the last one and half years, Hearts have employed the services of Israeli Eyal Lachman, Serbian Kosta Papic and current coach Egyptian Ayman El Yamani. But the first two coaches were fired for poor results. Current Egyptian Coach of the Phobians has lost the first two matches played in the league so far, raising doubts about his competence. He lost 0-2 each to Lions and King Faisal. And Ibrahim Musah of the famous Hearts Chapter 9 in Kumasi who watched Wednesdays game against Faisal questioned the team selection by Coach Yamani, arguing that Hearts would be better off if they kept a consistent team. Michael Owusu of Pig Farm in Accra who was shattered by the loss, also questioned the competence of players such as Frederick Angelo, James Mantey and Masawudi Mumuni among others, whom he said had failed to deliver so far. The Hearts team of last season was a better side. We are struggling, cant you see? a visibly disturbed Teiko Phobia of Mataheko told Daily Guide Sports. Hearts would his Sunday host Kessben FC in a cagey encounter at the Accra Sports Stadium. Bashiru Hayfords Kessben have won the two matches played so far.
