Aduana Stars Warns Malik Akowuah To Refund Money

Aduana Stars have sounded a note of caution to Hearts of Oak’s new signing Malik Akowuah to refund an undisclosed amount of money he received from the club when he decided to sign a contract with them.

According to reports, the midfielder agreed to play for the Dormaa-based club by signing a pre- contract with the Club but he miraculously swerved them to commit himself to the Phobians.

The report however, stresses that the ex- Medeama talisman received a check with huge sum of money from the bankroller of the former Ghana League Champions, Nana Osagyefo Agyemang Badu II as an enticement fee but the experienced midfielder insists he only took GHC 1000 from Nana Agyemang Badu as a transportation fee on three occasions that he visited the team in Dormaa.

This has triggered irate fans of the Club(Aduana Stars) to issue threats  and intimidating messages to the midfielder.

In an interview with Angel FM of Kumasi, the supporters leader of the team Sikindu reiterated that they deem Akowuah a very great respect so they want him to refund the money harmoniously else they will advise themselves.

‘’ Malik Akowuah should not forget that he will come to Dormaa for the G6 tournament and the league so he should not play with fire.

Meanwhile, the CEO of the Club Albert Commey and the bankroller Nana Agyemang Badu II have all shown keen interest in the issue to ensure that their money is compulsory retrieved from the player.

Aduana will meet Hearts on Saturday at the Sunyani coronation park in the G6 Mini- tournament.
