The National Youth wing of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as part of its final round of campaign will tomorrow, Sunday November 13,2016 hold its first ever National youth rally dubbed ‘the Ghana Youth Rally’ at the Moree D/A Basic School Park in the central region starting 11am.
The event which is themed, ‘‘CHANGE! Your Vote, Your Future’’, forms part of activities of the national youth wing to interact and engage with the teeming youth of this country whose living conditions have worsened under the NDC government in the past eight years. The rally will also serve as a platform to highlight and re-echo the party’s youth agenda and the commitment of its flagbearer Nana Akufo-Addo to the youth of this country.
The event is expected to attract several tens and thousands of Ghanaian youth drawn from the party’s youth structure as well as the generality of Ghanaians ; the unemployed, underemployed, fisher folk, hawkers, barbers, shoeshine boys, ‘kayayei’, tailors, dressmakers, porters, commercial drivers, students, teachers, nurses, etc.
The special guest of honor for the event will be Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia- NPP vice Presidential Candidate for the 2016 general elections. Other speakers will include the leadership of the NPP Youth Wing, Party Stalwarts, Members of Parliament, Young Parliamentary candidates, Youth Activists, members of the Creative Arts industry and representatives of volunteer and other identifiable youth groups.
Ahead of the rally, the National Youth Wing wishes to use this medium to thank all volunteer youth groups of the party for their enormous work, dedication and continuous commitment to the overall objective of unseating the incompetent NDC administration in this year’s general elections. The wind of Change is blowing and surely change is coming to Ghana.
