The Management of the Tamale Teaching Hospital, has expressed appreciation to the government for approving funds for the refurbishment of the medical facility to befit its status as a referral centre. He said an additional storey block would be added to the hospital for administrative duties, whilst the current administrative offices would be converted into wards to address the problem of patient accommodation. "We therefore wish to use this medium to commend government and express our profound appreciation for fulfilling its campaign promise of renovating the hospital", Dr Sagoe said and called on people of the Metropolis to give the needed co-operation and assistance when works start. He assured clients of the hospital that the renovation works would not affect the operation of the hospital.
