Ghanaian defender Gideon Baah hopes to return stronger after suffering an injury.
 
The left-back has suffered a major setback in his career having stayed on the sideline for the past five months.

Baah, former Kotoko defender has been on the mend at his Club New York Red Bulls after making just four appearances for the Major League Soccer side last season.

The former HJK Helsinki player says his career has been dealt a major blow.

“My career has suffered a major setback, it hasn’t been easy, lots of surgeries and all that,” he told Starr FM.

“But I am still under rehab and hope to return very soon, it hasn’t been easy, I was hoping to thrive in the MLS in my first season but unfortunately the injury set in.

“Hopefully I will return stronger next season and do my best for the Club.”

The 23-year-old suffered a similar setback whiles playing for Kotoko which saw him out of action for more than 12 months.
