Nana Yaw Boateng alias Nana NYC is a US based Ghanaian rapper making huge waves on the internet, especially on International Charts of www.soundclick.com. His music has topped the charts over and over again. Nana NYC�s song �Me Pe Wasem (Daddy Lumba Remix)�, is currently number one in the "WORLD" category/ sub genre Traditional African. The traditional African sub genre has over 1,200 artists from all over Africa on it, with over 1,000 songs. The song is taken from his forthcoming mix tape titled iMRECOGNIZED (Americanized). �I am currently in the recording studio working on it now. It will have many international stars on it. Born in Accra, Nana NYC spent a few years in Kwahu and Accra before migrating to the United States in 1992. Nana NYC is a member of the American Society of Composers and Publishers and has over the years mastered his craft by working with several top-notch producers. He has worked with the likes Dwayne Wayans (My Wife And Kids), Lansky of G.M.P, Jesse West, as well as Frado who has produced for The LOX, MIMS, Dipset, just to name a few.
