Under My Foot! I'll Never Apologize To Nonentity Kofi Adams - Obiri Boahene

Deputy General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Obiri Boahene has vowed not to render any form of apology to Mr. Kofi Adams for calling him a car thief.

He has pledged never to say sorry to a “nonentity” like Mr. Kofi Adams who is of no value to him.

The later who is National Organiser for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has been in the news lately for the bad reasons, following the retrieval of ‘state-owned’ vehicles from his private residence.

On Wednesday, February 1, some 15 armed men dressed in military fatigues stormed the private residence of Kofi Adams at Golf City in Tema, and seized all his five vehicles.

And to rub salt into the injury of Mr. Adams, Lawyer Obiri Boahene alleged that most of the cars taken from the former’s home were “stolen from government”.

He continued that the chassis numbers on the stolen vehicles were changed and sold to Kofi Adams.

Mr. Obiri Boahene’s utterances seem to have angered the National Organiser for the NDC and to demonstrate that he has given Mr. Boahene seven days to apologize to him.

He also threatened to file a defamation suit against the NPP scribe should he fail to apologize to him.

But Nana Obiri Boahene in an interview on ATV stated that he would never apologize to a man who is a worse culprit when it comes to defamation.

“I respect the lawyers working on his directives but I don’t regard or attach importance to Kofi Adams in any way. He has said worse things about people and never apologized for any of it. Under my foot, I will never apologize to him”, he noted.
