Malia Obama sparked questions about her love life on Wednesday, when she was pictured walking with a mystery man in New York City. 

The former first daughter smiled as she and the unidentified young man went for a nighttime stroll past the ritzy boutiques of SoHo. 

The young man was considerably taller than Malia, which is likely rare for her, standing at six-foot-one.

A witness said the 18-year-old was laughing and joking with her male companion, but also seemed nervous at a few points.  The two also appeared to be joined by another young woman. 

The two were dressed casually, Malia in the same jeans, T-shirt and sneakers she went to work in and he in a long black coat, beanie and boots.
