Milan to Give Adiyiah Time to Progress

AC Milan manager Leonardo says new Ghanaian signing, Dominic Adiyiah is one for the future. The Italian club have now completed the deal for the Ghana U-20 star from Norwegian club Fredrikstad who join the Rossoneri in January. Adiyiah, 19, was the star at the Fifa U-20 World Cup in Egypt last month he helped Ghana to the title after a penalty shoot-out win over Brazil. The striker who has recently earned a call up into the senior national team finished the tournament by picking up the individual honour of being top scorer, with eight goals from seven games, and winning the tournament's best player award. Leonardo, who watched the entire tournament says he was impressed with Adiyiah's performances but stressed that the Ghanaian is expected to blossom in future. "Having been the best player at the Under 20 World Cup is a great thing," he said. "I'm happy about his arrival and I think he'll do well. He's young. He's a buy for the future."
