�I Want To Be A Saint� - Pusher

Contrary to the bad boy role he played in the hit local television series �Things We Do For Love� which was his claim to fame, renowned Ghanaian actor, Adjetey Annan, aka Pusher has disclosed that the wants to play a saint. Adjetey who played �Kuuku� in the new Shirley Frimpong Manso Movie �A Sting In A Tale� said this in his encounter with Arts and Entertainment writers prior to the grand premiere of the new movie at the Accra International Conference Center on Friday 6th November. Answering a question posed by Eugene Osafo-Nkansah of peacefmonline on what his dream movie role is, he said �I�m sure a lot of people will be surprised to know, but I really want to play the role of a saint in a movie in the future." Adjetey featured in Shirley�s first movie �Life and Living it�, was casted for �Perfect Picture� and now stars in the current Sparrow Production release. He described working with Shirley as "very professional, friendly and a good avenue to learn new things." Asked if he would ever act in a movie with the likes of Kyeiwaa, Agya Koo, Mr. Beautiful and other actors who mostly feature in light-hearted Kumasi-based movies, Pusher said �Why not? I think it depends on the storyline and the quality of production,� he stated. Commenting on �A Sting In A Tale�, Pusher said �On set was very refreshing. It was like a big reunion of �Things We Do For Love� with characters such as Majid (Shaker) and Abieku Acquah (Killer)...We had fun and worked as one family on set.� Asked what will be his pick on his bad moment as an actor, he said, �I once met a young boy walking with his mother in town and immediately the boy saw me (Pusher), he was so happy and wanted to shake my hand and asked me to sign an autograph. But guess what his mother said; �Hey don�t go near this immoral guy he will be a bad influence on you�. I felt so embarrassed,� Pusher narrated. Adjetey Annan, who has been portrayed as a vagabond on screen over the years, is a rather shy and reserved person in real life. He has been married for three years with no kids yet. He is currently pursuing a masters� degree in Theater Arts at the University of Ghana. He intends to go into full time Production and Directing his own movies in future after school. His favorite Ghanaian musician, he says, is Kojo Antwi.
