Lack of Technical Direction Killing Kotoko - Maxwell Konadu

Black Stars assistant Coach Maxwell Konadu has attributed Kotoko’s persistent woes in the Ghana Premier League to the frequent changes of Coaches.

The Porcupine Warriors have appointed three Coaches in the last 12 months.

Kotoko named Michael Osei as an interim manager after sacking David Duncan in the first round of the 2015/16 League season.

The Reds however appointed Croatian Zdravsko Lugarosic who lasted just three months as head Coach of the Club.

English manager Steve Polack becomes the latest Coach for the former Ghana Premier League Champions. Maxwell Konadu who won the League title with the Porcupine Warriors says lack of technical direction is costing the team.

“The frequent change of Coaches has brought the team to this level. “I think its not the best within one season they have changed many coaches firing people left and right. i think its not the best”he told Citi TV.

“You have to keep and be confident in the leader who ever is in charge they should have faith in him because consistency is very important “he added

Kotoko are still hoping to clinch the League title after missing out in the last two seasons.
