To start with, the man�s name is Lawyer W.O Boafo an astute Lawyer and undoubtedly one of Ghana�s finest in the legal realms, that fact must be established and any �Die Hard NPP� member should be familiar with this basic fact. I initially did not want to comment on such spurious and bogus articles from faceless cowards. I find it interesting that you provide only your name that is if it is your name, to this article. I have found reason to say one, two, three words of fact to you because once again I expect a diehard NPP in the Akropong Constituency to know better and in any case find it very difficult to understand from which angle this article is coming from since you sometimes in your article make use of the pronoun �I� and sometimes �We� and so have the belief that it is a bunch of cowards behind this fruitless effort of smearing a self made man like Hon. W.O Boafo, a man with so much integrity. If you are a true die hard member of this party. I expect you to know that our party�s survival and dominance in this constituency is largely due to the selfless and hardworking efforts of Lawyer Boafo and anyone who disputes this fact is more an enemy to the party than a die hard. The statistics are there to prove that and I will present them to you shortly. Your article, posted on peacefmonline.com on 1st November, 2009, sought to hurriedly attempt to smear Hon. Boafo with allegations of hijacking the party and making it a personal property by resorting to Divide and Rule and intimidation only God knows what you mean by that and in any case allegations without any form of substance should in the first place be treated with all the contempt that it deserves. However considering the fact that you are faceless I have to let the world know the extent to which detractors like you can go to achieve their objectives. Let me try to establish some points in your article and address them accordingly; THAT THE ELECTION OF LAWYER BOAFO IS A MISTAKE I want you, finding it difficult to address you to understand that, the best thing to happen to the Akropong constituency is the election of Hon. Boafo as the candidate and the facts are there to show. Until the election of Hon.Boafo as the candidate, the Akropong constituency had always been an NPP constituency at the presidential level with a different situation when it came to Parliamentary, the main reason why it is only Hon.Boafo who has been able to retain his seat in the constituency with over 10,000 difference in votes cast the only M.P to have won the Akropong seat with this margin. To refresh your mind in 1992 the seat was occupied by an NDC M.P and in 2000 by Hon. Agyare Koi Larbi (NPP) who won the seat by just about two hundred (200) votes against the same NDC candidate who lawyer Boafo beat by this huge margin. What other evidence do you need to establish which of these politicians who have occupied this seat has been the best for the constituency and the party. This basic fact is something I assume did not occur to your shallow mind before putting that rubbish on paper. THAT LAWYER BOAFO RESORTS TO BRIBERY Let me make this straight forward statement, I am an ardent true and true activist of the NPP, and I know that Hon. W.O Boafo has not and has never bribed anyone to support him. Why would he do that considering his achievements and hard work in the constituency. The indefatigable Hon. W.O. Boafo is hardworking, modest, honest and a true party man which obviously has won him this massive and unilateral support which obviously is alien in your world of politics. Winning the hearts of people and their support in Politics is a special skill that only few Politicians like Lawyer Boafo Possess, I will advise you to rather make it a task to learn rather than envy. Who told you getting a unanimous support in politics can only achieved through bribing? A simple phone call to just two of the people you claim has ever been bribed would have brought you up to speed on what really is their motivation in their unflinching support for Lawyer. Or was the �NPP die hard� member scared of calling any of the constituency executives? How can a man who got more votes than the presidential candidate of the NPP be cited for bribery or he bribed all the over 22,000 people who voted for him. You consistently made reference to a certain �Divide and rule� in your article and I wish you could see the expression of disgust and repugnance on my face at this point as I ask you: what is the meaning of that? It is only a figment of your own imagination. Of course detractors and backbiters like yourself and your cohorts must always be eliminated to enable progress and forward movement. If that is what you are talking about then am sorry because the very moment Hon. W.O Boafo starts to associate with your kind, I will personally stop being his fan. People like you should never be allowed to function since your actions are inimical to progress and that can be dangerous to our party. IN THAT YOUR PIECE OF RUBBISH, YOU CITE LAWYER AS CREATING DISAFFECTION FOR THE PARTY AND CAUSING THE DOWNFALL OF THE PARTY AND COWING THEM INTO SILENCE WITH EVERYBODY AFRAID TO SPEAK Are you reasoning at all? And wonder if you were at the time of putting together this nonsesense. Are you in the Akropong constituency at all? Or this nonsense was pushed on you? Do you call a man who is the only M.P to have won the seat with such a huge margin someone who has created disaffection, He should be called a record setter instead or what do you think? Even the school children has a game they play with his name during break time in their schools and at home and this type of game is played in every corner in the constituency with smiles beaming on the faces of this children. Come to Larteh and you will see Children Playing �Ampe� happily singing the name of Lawyer Boafo as the tune for the Ampe. Obviously you don�t know about this because you are one of the so called NPP members who are not down with the grassroots but only want to storm into the constituency with your selfish ambition and believe you should just get whatever you want on a silver platter. Am sorry my Brother, that you won�t have? The people you refer to as sycophants and Dumb are the same people who won the seat for the NPP in 2004 and 2008 with overwhelming majority and so I find it difficult to understand your case here it is obvious your agenda is ill-gotten and that cannot survive in our NPP so you better change for the better or you forever wallow in your misery and continue to make unfounded and unsubstantiated allegations. I wouldn�t even take a major look at that aspect you erroneously raise about lawyer being a disappointment and embarrassment to the party, obviously with the little incite and education I have giving, you might have changed your opinion on that already. How can somebody like you be speaking at this point and you talk about silence. If you have finally been able to break your silence then we would leave it there. You are simply a funny object! The same team of Lawyer Boafo and the Chairman you claim the people detest have consistently won the seat for the party, what the heck then is your problem? ABOUT POLLING STATION ELECTION I was personally a close observant of the happenings and the process of the polling station elections and so took the pain and time as a true party man to go round during the elections and wonder which of the venues you are referring to because none of the towns in the constituency has me or anybody heard that Hon.W.O Boafo was directly or indirectly involved in the selection or election of this polling station executives. Your fake imaginations at work as usual? To the best of my knowledge the election was organized by an election committee with registered members of the NPP voting for their preferred person to be an executive or are you telling us that he influenced all the electorate into voting for the people he selected? Ridiculous and simply outrageous, I won�t waste any more time to clarify this issue because the allegation itself lacks any substance. PRAH AND DENNIS I wonder how and why Prah�s name appeared in your rubbish, I will however point out for you to know that if you need one of the best educationists and author of some of the best books in our teacher training colleges in Ghana, then you are talking about this man Prah, your so called intellectualism does not in anyway come close to a man who has ably assisted Hon. W.O Boafo to lead this constituency to the admiration of all hence the re-election. He is a senior colleague in terms of academics in this constituency and if you care to know, He is a Masters of Arts (MA) Holder and currently pursuing an MPHIL course at Legon which you erroneously tried to address, for your attention he is still a senior tutor at the premier College of Education (Presby College of Education). You had it all wrong in your attempt to attack the personality of Mr. Prah, some of the books he has authored include �Child psychology, methods of teaching in basic schools, principles and practice of education, educating people with specials needs, guidance and counseling for basic school teachers�. Your arrogance, pride and ignorance can be directed to people like us but never into the circles of Mr. Prah, because he is an inspiration to young people in this constituency and I am one of his ardent admirals. May be you should grab his book on �child psychology� and you can learn if there was probably some sort of malfunction in your childhood days that has affected your sense of judgement and you could save yourself this embarrassment. About the allegation against me I just have to set the records straight and then keep mute because you are not worth my breadth. First of all I am not a half baked intellectual with a weak class in Political Science. To dampen your spirit, the fact is, which you can always cross-check, I proudly came out of the University of Ghana with a strong upper in Political science with a strong social and political history, never in my performance of my duties at the SRC Vetting Committee was I cited for any malpractices as you try put forward, If I did I would not have received that prestigious award for meritorious service to the SRC, for your information my hard work and dedication to student politics made me a Senate member of Akuafo Hall, a General Assembly member of the SRC, a member of the constitution review committee of Akuafo hall, the envious position as the Chairman of the Legon speaks committee just to mention but these few. I wonder who fed you with this piece of lies. If you know what these positions mean and what one needs to get there you will know that all you try to create is nothing but sheer Nonsense because they are not easy to come by. With all these engagements on Legon campus and a strong upper, do you still hold the opinion of half Bakery, Guess not because you have been enlightened on the real issues now because I came out of Legon with strong Academics and excellent Social and Political life, the totality of a perfect intellectual apprenticeship at the tertiary level. THE FACTS ABOUT LAWYER BOAFO He is the most popular politician in the Constituency The most liked Politician in the constituency The Only M.P to have won the Akropong Seat by over 10,000 votes The only candidate to have brought life and vibrancy into the NPP in the constituency A true Party Man The Only M.P to have brought hope to the people of Akropong in terms of development. He is a unifier and a peace Loving Politician The Only Candidate the opposition NDC is scared of due to his enormous popularity. I want you and your bunch of cowards to know that this is a self made man with a lot of integrity and respect, a true party man with total commitment to the ideologies of the NPP and so breaking and smearing him is not going to be that easy. I have just one advice for you my Brother or better still Brothers, you either conform to the laws and regulations and help move the party forward or I will say Better Luck next time because with this, you had it all wrong.
