Hearts win game to bring back smiles to fans

Accra Hearts of Oak played an improved game to beat Bechem Chelsea 2-1 in their Seventh Week Glo Premier League match at the Robert Mensah Sports stadium on Sunday. Hearts displayed a determination to carry the day with an improved performance and earned three corner kicks in the early stages of the game but the strikers failed to utilise the chances. The game after then became a ding dong affair until the 40th minute when Hearts gained the upper hand to score the opener through petit Obed Ansah in the 43rd minute. Ansah after collecting a midfield pass, raced with the ball before delivering a long range shot from about 25 metres straight into the net. Back from the recess, both sides made some changes but it was still Hearts who benefited from the exchanges as they increased their goal tally to two in the 55th minute through midfielder Khamix Tua. Chelsea, in the dying minutes of the game took over attack and kept the Hearts' goal area boiling but had to wait until the 80th minute before Salifu Kankani reduced the goal tally with a consolation goal for his side.
