Ghana forward David Accam will stay out for at least the next four weeks after undergoing hernia operation.

The 27-year-old was taken through surgery to fix a malaise which could have affected his career.

He is expected to return in December after the successful operation.

Accam finished the season on a high scoring 14 goals for Chicago Fire in the Major League Soccer.
