Kotoko Goalie Pleads for Mercy

Goalkeeper Sannie Mohammed has issued a grovelling apology to the head coach Paa Kwesi Fabian and attributed his frustration to lack of first team action. The former Hearts of Oak stopper was dismissed from training on Tuesday after he used abusive language on the team's physical trainer Awu Nuhu. Report say Kotoko are considering wielding the disciplinary axe on him from the club following wide condemnation from the club's supporters."I admit that I used the unprintable words on Awudu but that was not intentional at all," Sannie said. "There is so much bite-bitting in the team and that is what is contributing to our current performance and so was just making a point to Awudu and in the process I acted wrongly. "I want to issue an apology to the coach, Awudu and the rest of my colleagues." He added:"I am training very hard and I am getting frustrated sitting on bench and so when a ball-boy tells me he hears some peopleare harbouring plans to send me on a transfer, it makes it very frustrating." Ghanasoccernet gathers the young goalie will be transfer-listed during the January transfer window after falling out of favour with the technical team.
