The National Treasurer of the ruling New Patriotic Party Mr. Kwabena Abankwah-Yeboah, who is seeking to retain his seat as the National Treasurer of the party, has congratulated the newly elected constituency executives of the Party for their impressive victory.

He has also called on the unsuccessful candidates to bring their experience on board as the Party prepares for the 2020 election.

In a statement copied to peacefmonline.com, Mr. Abankwah-Yeboah congratulated all the contestants particularly the newly elected executives for their dedication, hard work and commitment to democracy and urged those who lost to bring their expertise on board for their beloved NPP party.

"I am confident that the trust placed in you by the delegates will inspire you to continue important efforts in promoting unity, togetherness and respect leading it on the path of prosperity, further well-being and security for your constituencies,"he added.

The New Patriotic Party has held elections in all constituencies across the country to elect new officers for the party. Though some are being contested in court by some aggrieved contestants, the leadership of the party says elections will go on as planned whilst they work to have those affected areas resolved.
