The entertainment industry in Ghana is undoubtedly choked and for an artiste to penetrate and get to the top, he or she need strategies and sometimes industry insiders to help in promotions.

Now, this is the case of Zylofon Music signee, Kumi Guitar who made everyone in the conference room of Zylofon Media completely emotional when he humbly went on his knees to plead with Ghanaian bloggers to promote his music.

From all indications, Kumi Guitar’s music isn’t making waves as expected and looking at the huge investment that has gone into his music by Zylofon Media, the Highlife artiste had no option than to plead with bloggers to help push his music and brand in order to prove his worth to the record label.

“I’m not ashamed to kneel. If there is anything more to be done, I’m ready to do it…I’m pleading with you, I want to see myself out there. I want Ghanaians to accept me and support my brand,” Kumi Guitar cried out.

The manager of Kumi Guitar, Nana Poku aka Ashes adding his voice to the humble appeal said:

“Really and truly, our industry needs help. Kumi begged on behalf of everybody. We need you people. The artiste will release the music but you are the ones who will make or unmake the music. I know you get money based on the traffic on your blog but all we’re saying is we beg you. If you willingly decide to help our industry, we can go places”.

Some of the songs released by Kumi Guitar are, ‘Scriptures’, ‘Dream’, ‘Problem’, and ‘Brown Sugar’ and his next song ‘Betweener’ is set to be released soon.
