Coegan Ladies set to play Pepsi Academy

Coegan Ladies, Greater Accra Women's Soccer League participants would take on Pepsi Academy in one of their series of friendly matches at the Tema Manhean S.D.A. Park on Sunday, December 27. The match which is being played as part of activities marking the celebration of this year's Christmas is also to put the team in good shape before the commencement of next year's soccer season. Mr Samuel Ofori Amasah, Team Manager of Coegan Ladies told GNA Sports at Tema on Tuesday that players who were on the injury list are responding to treatment and that most of them are likely to feature for his team to give their opponents a stiff opposition. He said some of the players expected to don the jersey of the Club include Patience Agoe, Patience Adjetey, Ivy Korley, Linda Mensah, Elizabeth Ephraim, Comfort Narh and Alberta Tetteh. Mr Amasah said that every effort were being put in place to help the Club win next year's League for the first time. He thanked Mr Ebenezer Charway, Patron of the Club who is the Managing Director of Coegan Gas Company for his support towards the development of the Club.
