MP assures judicious use of resources

The Member of Parliament for Nkawkaw, Mr Seth Adjei-Baah, has said he would ensure a judicious use of all resources that he would receive for the constituency. He therefore urged the people to give him and the government the needed support and cooperation to finance more development projects in the constituency. Mr Adjei-Baah was addressing a durbar of chiefs and people of Kofi Dede to mark the 10th anniversary of the enstoolment of Nana Osei Appah Diatuo II as the Kofi Dedehene. He said he had distributed 18 street light bulbs worth 11,650 Ghana cedis to Kofi Dede, Kwahu Daa, Kwahu Jejeti, Aprahwem and Akwaboa and electricity will be extended to the Community Health Centre (CHSC) at Kofi Dede. Mr Adjei-Baah said the Kwahu West Municipal Assembly had acquired a grader to rehabilitate some feeder roads in the municipality while the Urban Roads Departments would open an office at Nkawkaw next year to undertake road construction works in the constituency. He said he had used his share of the GETFund to build a block of three classrooms, office and store for the Aweragya-Nsuta Junior High School (JHS) while a block of six classrooms, office and store was being rehabilitated for the Nkawkaw-Nsuta Presbyterian Primary school. Mr Adjei-Baah advised the people to co-operate and support the chief to develop the community. He later attended a fund raising harvest organized by the chiefs and people of Kwahu-Daa towards the construction of a block of six classrooms, office and store and pledged to assist the community with 100 bags of cement from his share of the common fund.
