Rebecca Saves Lives Again- Donates Equipments To Six More Hospitals.

The business of contributing towards saving and touching lives is a full time job for Ghana’s First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo.

And she does it with so much compassion typically representative of her person as the mother of a nation that places a lot of premium on its mothers and children.

It is in this regard that Six Hospitals and Healthcare centres in Greater Accra, Ashanti and Eastern Regions have yet again benefitted from The First Lady’s chest of life saving equipment donated by the Rebecca Foundation.

The beneficiary hospitals are the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, the Greater Accra Regional Hospital (Ridge Hospital) and the Teshie Community health Clinic.The Nsawam Orthopedic Centre in the Eastern Region also benefited.

The equipment included Complete Delivery Systems, boxes of Advance Wound Dressing Material, Hospital Beds, Boxes of Dressing Charge Irrigation Trays, Patient Medical Tables and boxes of Cardinal Health Hydrocolloid Dressing.

It also included Surgery Drain Bags, Instant Warmer Systems, Anesthesia Super Circuit Pack, Eye Protection packs, Primary IV Sets, Secondary IV Sets, IV Start Kits and differing sizes of Vicryl Sets etc.

Similar donations has gone to hospitals in the three Northern Regions, Bechem, Kwahu-Atibie and Krachi West Government Hospitals, etc.

The combined presentation was done on behalf of the First Lady by Mrs. Akosua Newman of the Rebecca Foundation.

Present were the Chief Executive Officers of Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, the Greater Accra Regional Hospital (Ridge Hospital) and the Member of Parliament for Nsawam Adoagyiri, Hon. Frank Annor Dompreh as well as the Board Chairman for Korle-Bu and MP for Ledzokuku, Dr. Okoe Boye.
