The clubs welfare body hopes to have a good presence in the much-anticipated set-up.
 
Jones Abu Alhassan, chairman of Ghana League Clubs Association (Ghalca) Reform Committee for Ghana Football, says it would not be fair if the unit gets no representation on Fifa's Normalization Committee whose composition is expected to be announced soon.  

Members of the Normalisation Committee will take over from the current two-man Liaison Team that has been running football in the country following the suspension of the football association.

An investigative documentary on June 6 exposed corrupt and match-fixing activities of top officials and referees of the FA, leading to the resignation of president Kwesi Nyantakyi and the dissolution of the Executive Committee.

“It is only reasonable that Ghalca should be given adequate representation," Alhassan told Citi FM. 

"You will realize that the clubs alone constitute nearly ninety percent of the membership of the GFA Congress.

"Therefore it will be unwise for anybody to put together a normalization committee which will not have adequate representation of the clubs.

"I don’t know how many people will constitute the normalization committee but the clubs must have a preponderance of numbers on it."

According Fifa, the committee's work will come to an end on March 31, 2019.
