Ghana Line Up Friendly Against Zimbabwe In London Ahead Of 2019 AFCON

Ghana are scheduled to play Zimbabwe in London next year in a pre-2019 Africa Cup of Nations friendly.

The Black Stars have qualified for the tournament with one match to spare after CAF removed Sierra Leone from the qualifiers.

Zimbabwe need a win in their final Group G match against Congo at home to seal a qualification ticket.

UK-based Ghanaian football agent Justin Addo, who is working with the Zimbabwe Football Association, is putting the deal together.

''Further to our discussions, I would like to confirm that we would like to invite the Zimbabwe national team to a pre-Afcon training camp here in the UK at the end of May. The duration will be for seven days and will include one international friendly match against Ghana,'' Addo's proposal to Zifa read.

The Black Stars are now second in Group F; one point behind leaders Kenya who they play next March at home to determine the leaders of the pool.
