President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in a Christmas and new year message has urged Ghanaians to 'join hands with' his government 'in building a progressive and prosperous Ghana we all want'.

He said in as much as his administration has chalked a lot of successes this year, "next year promises to be a good one"

“Our achievements in office so far, even though modest, have been appreciable and visible for all to see...next year promises to be a good one. I encourage you to join hands with my government in building a progressive and prosperous Ghana we all want...I wish you all a merry Christmas and a prosperous happy new year” he said in a video posted on his Facebook page.
