NPP Youth Organizer for the Awutu-Senya East-Kasoa-Constituency, Bernard Nana Orko-Hene also known as Nana 1 has denied claims by some members of the NDC that he attacked the Deputy National Youth Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Edem Agbana during the Ayawaso bye-election.

In a statement copied to Peacefmonline.com, the NPP activist described the allegation as just an attempt to tarnish his image.

“I would like to state categorically that such accusations are mere blame games just to tarnish my hard won reputation and image,” he said.

I did not beat anyone!!!

Information reaching me indicates that, the National Chairman of the opposition NDC  Mr. Ofosu Ampofo, their Communication Officer, Mr. Sammy Gyamfi and the Deputy National Youth Organizer of the NDC Edem Agbana are accusing me, Bernard Nana Orko-Hene (Nana1) the NPP Youth Organizer for the Awutu-Senya East-Kasoa-Constituency of masking myself in a  security apparel to perpetrate violence on one Edem Agbana last Thursday at Legon Campus. 

I would like to state categorically that such accusations are mere blame games just to tarnish my hard won reputation and image.

It is one of the opposition's trademark of causing fear and insecurity in the country.

I, Mr. Bernard Nana Orko-Hene (Nana1), the NPP Youth Organizer for Kasoa-ASEC is a law abiding citizen who forever believes in democratic process on the wings of peace and unity and not violence.

I therefore want to state that all those allegations levelled against me are untrue.
It is a ploy by the NDC to find any straw to hang themselves on knowing very well they are sinking so fast.

I will continue to work harder for my party in a peaceful atmosphere and won't do anything contrary to what the laws of the land say.
