Nana Addo Has No Credibility & Moral Right To Talk About Peace - Asiedu Nketia

The General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Asiedu Nketia has stated emphatically that President Akufo-Addo has lost his credibility and moral right to talk about peace in the country.

According to him, insofar as the state security agencies have failed woefully to protect the ordinary Ghanaian, it is up to them to protect themselves against violence.

“The President is fully aware of the breakdown of security and everything going on in the country,” he said.

Speaking on Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia' programme, he asserted that Nana Addo is fulfilling campaign promises as he is complicit in crimes and his all-die-be-die comments are reconstructed and executed at Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election.

“Nana Addo is fully executing his campaign promises; because if not, how can he appoint Bryan Acheampong as the head of National Security . . . someone who caused confusion everywhere he goes, inciting violence in Suhum and Abetifi election respectively," he stated.

He therefore called on the media fratenity in the country to use their power to constantly speak against vigilantism and violence in the country.
