The Member of Parliament (MP) for Klottey Korle, Dr. Zanetor Rawlings has congratulated former President John Mahama on his election as Presidential candidate for the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The former President over the weekend was handed an overwhelming victory by 260,000 delegates of the NDC.

He garnered 95% of the total votes cast on Saturday, 23 February 2019.

In a congratulatory message on Instagram, Dr. Zanetor wrote: "I wish to congratulate H.E. President John Dramani Mahama for his resounding victory at the presidential primaries of our great NDC party. I also commend all the other candidates for helping to entrench the democratic process within our party. Now it is time to work together for victory in the 2020 general elections. #TogetherWeBuild #Victory2020"
