Short Commission: Mysterious 'Key' Led To The Scuffle – Sam George Discloses

A mysterious 'key' led to the scuffle between the National Security operatives and a crowd gathered at the house of the NDC candidate, Delali Brempong during the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election, according to the Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram constituency, Sam George.

Even though he didn't know what started the scuffle from the onset, the MP said when he got to where the crowd had gathered, they were complaining that the National Security operatives had seized a certain 'key' from them and that they needed it back.

Recounting, he said, he went to one of the operatives called 'Double' and inquired of the key and 'Double' "told me to follow him to his car to find out who had taken the key"; but when they got to the car, no key was given to him.

Asked if he sought to find out which or whose key it was, he said "the heat of the moment would not have allowed that (form of) interrogation . . . when I asked 'Double' he said I should follow him to find who had the key".

Sam George appeared before the Emile Short Commission for the second time on Tuesday after his first appearance on Monday, 25th February 2019.
