Former National Organizer of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams, says his party members are law abiding citizens of the country, but will not hesitate to retaliate any form of violence served.

According to him, his party vigilante groups are skilled to defend themselves anytime there’s an attack.

Kofi Adams was discussing Ex-President Mahama’s ‘boot for boot’ comment which has generated some cacophonies in the country.

John Dramani Mahama gave the warning at a meeting with NDC supporters in the Adaklu Constituency - “We are not going to joke in 2020 and I’m sounding a warning to the NPP – we are going to match them boot for boot.”

Speaking on NEAT FM’s evening political programme, ‘Torchlight’ with host Mac Jerry Osei Agyeman, Mr Adams said - “Of course we are law abiding people but we will not hesitate to hit back if attacked. We are skilled in violence so that is why we are telling them [NPP] that, if they bring boot, we will not meet them with Chale Wote.”
