Politicians Are Brains Behind Violent Eruptions - Kokofu

Former Member of Parliament [MP] for Bantama constituency, Henry Kwabena Kokofu has said that politicians are the brain behind violent eruptions in their own countries.

According to him, nobody can be held responsible for confusions created in countries other than the politicians in those countries, because they in one way or the other generate the misunderstanding which smokes to become fire in public.

Henry Kokofu admitted that “there will be no riot in Ghana if all political parties decide to disband political vigilantes and as well disown any of such groups in their party”.

Speaking on the proceedings of the Justice Emile Short’s Commission on UTV’s ‘Adekye Nsroma’ show, Henry Kokofu indicated that Sam George, MP for Ningo-Prampram Constituency is a big liar to now confess that no one died during the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-elections violence, when he at the scene reported that one died without any doctor’s examination.

“Why didn’t Sam George send the bullet casings to the police headquarters as evidence, when members of the minority left parliament and marched to the police headquarters on the day Lydia Seyram Alhassan, Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon by-elections was sworn in parliament, claiming they were going to submit their report of what happened at the Bawaleshie polling station . . . Indeed Sam George is a liar and should never be taken serious,” he noted.
