VIDEO: Evangelist Addai Literally 'Insults' Nana Addo And Duncan Williams

US-based Ghanaian self-acclaimed Evangelist, Addai Emmanuel, has rained insults on the President of the Republic, Nana Akufo-Addo and Archbishop Duncan Williams over the decision to construct a National Cathedral.

On March 6, 2017, President Akufo-Addo cut the sod for the construction of a National Cathedral to be sited close to the State House in Accra.

He described the Cathedral as an inter-denominational Worship project in thanksgiving gesture to God for the blessings He has bestowed on the country on the occasion of its 60th anniversary.

That ceremony had in attendance the heads of various Christian denominations in the country including the Accra Metropolitan Archbishop, the Most Rev. Charles Palmer-Buckle, and Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams of the Action Chapel.

The decision of President Akufo-Addo to build a National Cathedral to the Glory of God has been a topic of discussion in the media with the majority kicking against it.

Evangelist Addai in a recent video literally insulted the President and Duncan Williams for teaming up to build a National Cathedral instead of building factories to reduce the unemployment rate in Ghana.

Evangelist Emmanuel Addai questioned the President on the number of Cathedrals he saw when he travelled to the United States of America to beg for funds to fund Ghana’s National Cathedral.

The President is very eager to build the National Cathedral no matter the criticisms and punching of holes in his decision to honour God, judging from his utterances concerning the issue of the National Cathedral.
