Baby Ansaba Is The No 1 Non-Entity Ghana Has Ever Produced

In his bid to ease his conscience and chart a new course for his professional practice, the Editor of the New Punch Newspaper, Ebenezer Ato Sam, popularly known as Baby Ansaba has attracted a barrage of derision and a heavy down pour of insults from a section of the general public and the political divide. The former Deputy Editor of the Daily Guide Newspaper in recent interviews with sections of the media said he was denouncing his unethical past and turning over a new leaf as far as the practice of professional journalism is concerned. Taking a swipe at former president J.A Kufour, Baby Ansabah said he was grateful to President Mills for giving him the opportunity to travel with him on an official trip to Trinidad and Tobago. He said President Kufour never gave him such an opportunity in his eight years in power, despite all the favours he did for the then Government with his paper. Baby Ansaba added that he regrets using his paper to publish lies about president Mills when he was a candidate for the NDC. A lot of outrage has greeted Baby Ansabas confessions with some describing him as a may weather friend and a stomach journalist. The latest to pour his outrage on the embattled journalist is NPPs MP for Asikuma Odoben-Brakwa, P.C Appiah Ofori. One would have thought that the man popularly touted as an anti corruption crusader would commend Baby Ansaba for his resolve to turn over a new leaf but on the Citi Eyewitness news on Thursday, January 4, P.C Appiah Ofori poured venom on Baby Ansaba, referring to him as the number one non-entity Ghana has ever produced. Baby Ansaba has no conscience, and I am happy that events are now exposing him to be a man who has no principles and conscience. He has been publishing false news against people including myself. Baby Ansaba is a non-entity; he has been destroying people for reasons known to him. He has now seen his folly and stupidity and he is now confessing. Is he a man who should be considered as a man of honour? Ghanaians should disregard whatever he writes because he has no conscience. He said. P.C Appiah Ofori who described Baby Ansaba as a long distant relative added that the onetime sympathizer of the NPP has hit the bottom and therefore does not deserve any sympathies because he deliberately churned out false stories to dent the reputation of people. After doing irreparable damage to people, is he now coming to apologise...why do you destroy somebody and then later on you come and say that I am sorry? If you make deliberate mistakes, you dont deserve any sympathyHe is the number one non-entity that this country has ever produced and nobody should attach any weight to his behavior. He said. Some senior journalists have called for Baby Ansabas dismissal from the Ghana Journalist Association (GJA) and also be dragged before the National Media Commission. The matter has since been referred to the disciplinary council of the GJA for investigations and advice.
