My Mum Cried When She Heard Ken Agyapong Will Be Quitting Politics – Rev. Owusu Bempah

The founder and leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry International, Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah says his mother is worried NPP Member of Parliament for Assin Central constituency, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has decided to quit politics.

According to him, his mother is a ‘diehard’ fan of the outspoken lawmaker – hence, his decision has come as a shock to her.

“My mum called me and informed me about Kennedy Agyapong’s decision to quit politics. My mum was really teary when she was informing me because she is really fond of Kennedy Agyapong.

“She hasn’t even met him in person before but she really likes him. I was surprised so I called Sammy Awuku to confirm the rumours but he allayed my fears. I had to call my mum to inform her that it was all a lie to enable her to calm down,” Rev. Owusu Bempah said on NET 2 TV.

To him, Kennedy Agyapong is an honest man who has great love for President Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party.

Kennedy Agyapong has hinted that he will quit politics because there is too much “hypocrites” in the New Patriotic Party which he can’t stand any more.

He bemoaned that he has not been treated fairly by his own party and that some people are scheming to disgrace him.

“I have decided not to contest again because of NPP and their conduct. The way they are using me and making me face all sorts of embarrassment I do not think I can continue.

"You can record and go and play to them. Where I have lived my life up to and how they are treating me, I am calling it quits," he revealed.
