Who Born Dog; Stop The Nonsense Around You Or Youll Go Down With Them : JJ Warns Prez Mills

The lull in criticisms of President Millss leadership style by Founder and now Chairman of the Council of Elders of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Ex-President Jeremiah John Rawlings, has been short-lived and eventually shattered by the former President as he launches yet another vitriolic attack on the First Gentleman and some members of his administration. In his usual strident manner, Mr. Rawlings accused President Mills of presiding over growing indiscipline in his government, and warned him to put his foot down and ensure that the nonsense going on around him is brought to a halt, otherwise, he (President Mills) will go down with them. Speaking to a gathering of NDC party foot soldiers and a number of parliamentarians at his Ridge residence during a reception, the former President described the action of one particular Presidential Staffer and NDC National Youth Organiser, Ludwig Hlodze, who he alleges drives around with dispatch riders at night as foolish and indiscipline. that Ludwig who comes home using dispatch riders, look for somebody to film it and go and give it to Professor Mills ...what is Ludwig, that little twitch! You know, what does he need dispatch riders to go home for late in the night and waking people upGo and show Professor Mills that this is what is disgracing his government. He must learn to discipline the people around him. The people he has surrounded himself with, most of them have worked with me before, thats why I said who born dog? In my time, none of them will dare do the foolish things they are doing around him ..., why is he not putting his foot down to make sure the nonsense going on around him is brought to a halt? If I can do it why cant he do it? If he can do that, we will begin to see some change, and if they are not changing he should boot them out. If not, if not he will go down with them, and if they want to take us with them Im afraid we will not go down with them, he said. Sounding quite religious, Mr. Rawlings revealed that he oftentimes prays to God for the President, but perhaps his prayers are not loud enough to catch Gods ears. He called on President Mills to remember that God could not have made him President without passing through human beings and therefore vowed to continue laying into President Mills until things change for the better. He must remember that God couldnt have put him there without passing through human beings I will not stop today or tomorrow, I will continue till he and his people wake up. I wish him well and I pray for him.but Im not seeing the results or is it that God through us has blocked his ears or my prayer is not loud enoughFirst I used to say he is slow, but I cant say he is slow anymore, because the slowness is not moving his direction. I dont see a reversal or going back to where we came from. Mr. Rawlings effusions continued unabated when he stated that for President Mills to concede that things were not going as expected, was at least gratifiable, but stressed that if we continued at this rate for another year, the third year would be difficult, and the fourth year would be very, very difficult. Weve lost one precious year, weve got one more year to prove that we can turn this thing round. I want Professor to understand that, that seat at the Castle, that throne, Ive had it before for 18 years. I want NPP (New Patriotic Party) to know, I want everybody to know, Ive had it for 18 years. I had no time to hold it that you know, Ive put my foot on it and its like Im grabbing it, dont come and take it off me kind of thing. I had no time to even sit on it. The way I consolidated my hold over the seat was actually to leave it alone and concentrate on the work that needed to be doneNobody could touch it because the power was where productivity was the power was where we were providing water, the power was where we were providing electricity, the power was where we were providing schools etc, as we were empowering people. Yesterdays blistering attack comes on the heels of a crunch National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held at the Royal Ravico Hotel at which some critical decisions were taken and new functional committees of the party inaugurated to man key structures in the party.
