I Will Secure Six Seats For NPP In Oti

Mr Samuel Addo Gyamfi, an aspiring Regional Organiser for the New Patriotic Party in Oti Region has said he would win six parliamentary seats for the Party when voted for in the upcoming Extraordinary Delegates Conference.

He told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that the Party in the Oti Region required experienced hands to make needed inroads in an area dominated by the National Democratic Congress, and said he would commit to securing all seats for the NPP.

Mr Gyamfi, an Educationist said the new region required an organiser who possessed grassroot familiarity, and that delegates must consider his trove of experience, having served as Nkwanta South Constituency Organiser from 2003 to 2019, making him the longest serving Organiser in the Volta and the Oti regions.

He said his re-organisation strategy included; unifying the people, and promoting peaceful co-existence to help realise the development of the new region.

"Without peace and unity, we cannot succeed" Mr Gyamfi said, and appealed to delegates to ensure the election was peaceful, and elect leaders who would help to make the Party a choice in the region.

A total of 31 candidates are vying for various executive positions of the Party in the region, slated for Saturday May 18 at the Dambai College of Education from 1000 to 1700 hours.

Each of the eight constituencies would be represented by 17 delegates.
