John Terry's wife insists they are a "strong couple" despite the former England captain's alleged affair. Terry flew to Dubai on Thursday for crunch talks with 28-year-oldToni who fled to the Emirate following allegations that her husband had an affair with lingerie model Vanessa Perroncel, the ex-partner of England team-mate Wayne Bridge. The 29-year-old, who has been sacked as England captain, was pictured kissing and cuddling his wife as the couple relaxed with their two children by the pool of a five-star hotel. Terry said: "The pictures say more than words can say about how we are as a couple. "What me and Toni speak about, no one will ever know. No one will ever get close to knowing about how our life is. We are private people. We know how we feel about each other and that is the main thing. Our relationship has never been knocked down. We're just so in love." Photographs showed the pair enjoying the hot weather as they frolicked on sun loungers and swam in the pool.
