Ebo Dacosta returned a net score of 71 to win the Tema Country Golf Club Captain's Prize Championship played at Tema on Saturday. S. D. Odame took the second position with 72 net while Frank Adu placed third with 74 net after he beat E. K. Amedzro and Ebenezer Tetteh Mensah on count-back. In the Ladies segment, Esther Antwi came first with 70 net followed by Beatrice Vetsche-Bempong at the second position with 71 net while Mona Myles-Lamptey placed third with 73 net beating Margaret Anderson on count-back. In the Men's Division 'B', Mathias Dorfe came first with 64 net followed by Kofi Osafo Sampong with 70 net after he beat Osei Ampiaw on count-back while P. K. Fiagbe placed fourth with 71 net In the Professional's category, E. K. Osei came first with 139 gross, Victor Brave-Mensah and Vincent Torgah shared the second spot with 141 gross while Baba Akologo took the third position with 145 gross. The one-day 18-Hole Stable-ford competition which was open to amateur and professional golfers throughout the country was sponsored by Mr Kweku Okyere, Captain of the Tema Country Golf Club. Dr Felix Frempong, President of the Ghana Golf Association was assisted by Mr Okyere to present prizes to the winners.
