Veep Visits Burnt Residence Of Rawlings

Vice President John Mahama has visited the burnt Ridge residence of the Rawlingses. He cut short his tour of Northern Ghana so he could ascertain for himself, the devastation caused to the former first family�s home. The entire house was destroyed by the fire outbreak. Mr Mahama was briefed by Mr Rawlings� spokesperson, Kofi Adams. President John Mills was there earlier; so were other state and party officials of the NDC. Mr Mahama earlier spoke with Mr Rawlings on the phone before he touched down. The Spokesperson of Former President Rawlings, Kofi Adams assured the Vice President that the former fist family �are in a safe place.�
