Abduction of 2 Canadians: Govt’s Emphasis On ‘No Help From Canada’ Needless – Alhaji Nasiru

Communications team member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Alhaji Nasiru Mohammed says it is of no importance for government to keep insisting that no external security helped in rescuing the Canadian girls.

According to him, the most important thing that the ruling government should be concerned about is that the Canadian girls have been found.

He said work must be in progress to search for the Takoradi kidnapped girls who have been missing since last year.

Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah categorically stated at a press conference on Wednesday that the entire operation was executed by a team of professional security officials drawn from the Bureau of National Investigations and the counter-terrorism squad.

Nasiru Mohammed in an interview on UTV’s late news discussion segment on the rampant kidnappings and the arrest of Ofosu-Ampofo noted that “God has disgraced members of the NPP government for their unending needless Police allegations against the NDC’s National Chairman, Samuel Ofosu- Ampofo”.

He further insisted that President Akufo-Addo and his government have refused to let peace prevail in the country even though they are always preaching peace.

their frequent intimidation on the NDC chairman on an incident they have evidence on tells it all. “These are some of the reasons that make me call them hypocrites.”
