Sarkodie had a different response compared to hundreds who mocked BET for the gaffe via its twitter handle whilst wishing the Ghanaian rapper well on his birthday.

“Sending Birthday love to @sarkodie, enjoy your day bro. Photo by Ollie Millington/WireImage ” reads the now-deleted-tweet by the network using a photo of StrongMan.

Sarkodie quote-tweeted the original message writing: “Lol this is legendary” mentioning StrongMan.

Until April 2019, StrongMan was signed to Sarkodie’s SarkCess Music label. On April 14, 2019, the parties announced the end of their two-year “legal relationship.”

The working relationship was both “good” and “rough,” stated StrongMan during an interview.

“You know it has been good and on the other side too, it would be rough at times,” explained the ‘Monster’ artiste to Tv3.  “You know we are human beings, no matter whatever happens there would be some one or two issues which would come up that maybe he would not understand or me too I would not understand.”

Sarkodie also stated that deciding to end the working relationship was “mutual.”
